These mountains are captivating. With the ever-changing beauty of the clouds floating between the mountains and the lake outside and the many amenities inside, you might find it hard to leave the cabin. But when you do pull yourself away, there’s a whole adventure waiting for you.
You'll spend your days chasing waterfalls at Deep Creek, rafting on the river, hiking the trails through the Smokies, riding the train through the Nantahala, and hunting down the best spots in town for a good meal, a cold drink, or a quick treat.
And the cabin will be there at the edges of it all. The first coffee before anyone else is up. The crackle of the firepit as the sun slips behind the ridge. The long talk and late laughs in the Night Owl Lounge as the evening fades.
This isn't the trip you’ll remember by the schedule. You'll remember the slow mornings, the long hikes, and the nights nobody wanted to end.
Walk through the front door and you're greeted by all of it at once — two stories of windows, the mountains straight ahead, the lake below. A fireplace runs the full height of the room, and the dining table seats eight for meals.
Main Living Space
Kitchen
Fully stocked and open to the living room, so the cook is never out of the conversation. The window over the sink looks out to the covered porch and the view past it. A long island with seating for four more and counter space to spread out.
Primary Bedroom & Bathroom
A sliding door opens straight onto the deck, so the view is the first thing you see in the morning. A comfy memory foam king bed, smart tv, walk-in closet, and an ensuite with a double vanity and full tiled walk-in shower with wall mount and immersive overhead rain shower heads.
King Bedroom
A second comfy memory foam king on the main floor, with a smart TV and a closet. The shared full bath is just outside the door.
Full Bath
A full bath on the main floor with a tub and shower combination.
Family Room
Downstairs the lake shows up again through a wall of windows. A room truly designed for family fun with a pool table, shuffleboard, a deep couch, a big smart TV and a popcorn maker for movie nights. The doors lead out to the lower deck and the fire pit.
Night Owl Lounge
A moody speakeasy lounge tucked behind a door in the basement. Bar, beverage fridge, poker table, and a lounge area that makes the perfect space to connect with friends after a day of exploring the mountains.
King Suite
Another comfy memory foam king bed on the lower level with a smart TV and an ensuite. The bathroom has a tub and shower combination with tile surround.
Bunk Room
Bunks on the lower level with room for seven (a twin over full, a twin over twin, and a trundle underneath). Around the corner, younger kids will love Hoot's Hideout- a treehouse loft with twinkle lights, glow-in-the-dark stars and a painted moon overhead. There's a QR code inside for a couple of bedtime stories for kids to find out more about Hoot’s adventures, and room enough to sleep up there if they want to.
The Decks
The main deck runs the full width of the house--perfect to take in the expansive Smoky Mountain and lake views. The deck area off of the kitchen is covered, has a ceiling fan, and a gas grill. It’s a favorite spot to connect & relax with a sectional couch, high-top table for 3, gas fire table, and smart TV—it’s a great spot to watch a storm come in over the Smokies too! There is also deck access off the primary-the perfect area to get a morning workout or yoga session in. Also, on the other side of the deck sits an oversized cozy rocker perfect for watching the mountain sunrises. Below, off the family room, there is another covered deck with a kids' rocker and a comfy egg chair loveseat.
Hot Tub, Firepit & More
The hot tub sits on a pad above the tree line, with a bench and towel hooks alongside. The hot tub itself seats up to 6 and has a lounger seat- perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring the mountains. Around the other side of the house, a wood-burning fire pit ringed with Adirondack chairs under string lights—perfect for reconnecting and making memories of evenings spent making s’mores, telling stories of the day’s adventures, and stargazing by the fire. A Tesla universal wall charger (level 2) is mounted on the side of the house for guest use as well.

Life keeps moving.
Timber Ridge waits for you.
No traffic, no crowds, no one needing anything — just the people you came with and time that finally slows down. Maybe it's the family, everyone a year taller. Maybe it's the same friends who never miss it. Maybe it's just the two of you, just the way it started.
Whoever you bring, the lake stays exactly where you left it — and somewhere in every stay there's a moment when you catch each other's eye and think “this is it.”
